About Us

Established in 2008, Gourmet Burger Bistro (GBB) is a family owned and operated establishment. The founders of GBB had one simple goal; to serve the finest burgers with the freshest ingredients. We set out to offer the best selection of both traditional and new-world burger creations imaginable. We compliment our fresh, made-to-order burgers with the finest touches, details and side selections. We uniquely blend affordable, bistro-style dining with an upscale experience for our guests.

We selected to nestle GBB in the picturesque waterside village of Port Jefferson offering a beautiful location for a wonderful dining experience. In Port Jeff, our guests can also enjoy walking access to one of Long Island’s most scenic locations, with a variety of shopping and harbor access right down the street.

For our dining room we took on the challenge of creating an “urban-style” in a sea-side location. Our warm and inviting dining room is beautifully appointed creating a smart, comfortable setting for our guests. Families, couples, singles and larger parties enjoy an open room with a view to our state-of-the-art grill kitchen. We set the mood in the room with a variety of music from our surround sound system.

Our wait staff is friendly, courteous and proficient in delivering our mouth watering burgers to the table while still hot and juicy.
